Cabernet Sauvignon

100% Estate Grown, Mount George Estate Vineyard – Napa Valley

Cave-aged for 22 months

100% French oak (60% new barrels)

Tasting Notes:

The 2013 vintage is expected to be one of Napa’s best, with impressive wines displaying excellent structure and having substantial longevity. The 2013 Audtion cabernet is dense and concentrated with cassis, violets, and dark chocolate notes on the nose. The firm tannins are kept juicy with rich black currant, bing cherry, and toasty brown sugar. The finish is long and fresh with rose pedal, pipe tobacco, and a lint of wet forest floor all wrapped in an envelope of creamy French oak. 14.8% Alc., 5.9 g/L TA, 3.69 pH

Wine Enthusiast 91 pts – This is a purely varietal, estate-grown wine from Mount George, cave-aged for nearly two years in all-new French oak. Generously expansive on the palate, it offers full-bodied richness around a thoughtful layering of clove, juicy black cherry and savory red currant, lingering on the finish.

Chardonnay

Carneros – Napa Valley

Cave-aged for 10 months

100% French oak (50% new barrels)

The Audition Chardonnay is created from premium grapes sourced from the Carneros district in Napa Valley. The cool temperatures caused by the proximity to San Pablo Bay create the climate consistency that Chardonnay vines thrive in.

Tasting Notes:

The 2014 growing season provided an early crop of very well-balanced and evenly ripened fruit. The final stages of ripening in Carneros came gradually and predictably resulting in small berries packed with intense, powerful flavors.

Aromas of white nectarine, cereal grains, and honeysuckle are the greeting to this wine. Core flavors of peach, ripe fig, and fresh lavender are held together with a rich and smooth structure that lasts through the finish of minerals, nutmeg and allspice.
14.2% Alc., 6.3 g/L TA, 3.44 pH

San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition – Double Gold Medal

Wine Spectator 91 pts – Captures the zest of cool-climate Chardonnay, with a vibrant mix of melon, pear, spice and citrus flavors. Slowly glides to the elegant, graceful finish. Dink now. 241 cases made.

Zinfandel

Carneros, Napa Valley

Cave-aged for 17 months

100% French and Hungarian oak barrels (40% new)

Fresh aromas of blackberries, violets, and spicy vanilla begin the journey. Initial bright berry notes are followed by deeper tones of roasted plum and fresh earth. The mid palate is alive with flavors or black raspberry, licorice, white pepper, and clove spice. The long lingering finish has juicy round tannins and clean acidity that finish gracefully.

Wine Enthusiast 92 pts – Peppery, brambly, integrated and balanced, this impressively layered and complex 100% varietal wine highlights the grape’s ability to be fruity, spicy and soft all at the same time.
