Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting Notes::

The 2013 vintage is expected to be one of Napa’s best, with impressive wines displaying excellent structure and having substantial longevity. The 2013 Audtion cabernet is dense and concentrated with cassis, violets, and dark chocolate notes on the nose. The firm tannins are kept juicy with rich black currant, bing cherry, and toasty brown sugar. The finish is long and fresh with rose pedal, pipe tobacco, and a lint of wet forest floor all wrapped in an envelope of creamy French oak. 14.8% Alc., 5.9 g/L TA, 3.69 pH

Wine Enthusiast 91 pts – This is a purely varietal, estate-grown wine from Mount George, cave-aged for nearly two years in all-new French oak. Generously expansive on the palate, it offers full-bodied richness around a thoughtful layering of clove, juicy black cherry and savory red currant, lingering on the finish.

The 2015 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon displays excellent structure and will provide substantial longevity, improving with age. The 2015 Carnal cabernet is dense and concentrated with dark chocolate notes on the nose with firm tannins kept juicy with rich black currant and bing cherry. This wine provides a long finish after being aged for 26 months in 50% new French Oak. 14.1% Alc.
