Chardonnay

The Audition Chardonnay is created from premium grapes sourced from the Carneros district in Napa Valley. The cool temperatures caused by the proximity to San Pablo Bay create the climate consistency that Chardonnay vines thrive in.

Tasting Notes:

The 2014 growing season provided an early crop of very well-balanced and evenly ripened fruit. The final stages of ripening in Carneros came gradually and predictably resulting in small berries packed with intense, powerful flavors.

Aromas of white nectarine, cereal grains, and honeysuckle are the greeting to this wine. Core flavors of peach, ripe fig, and fresh lavender are held together with a rich and smooth structure that lasts through the finish of minerals, nutmeg and allspice.
